The building is now weather with the roof deck and structural wall installed. All works are progressing extremely well.

Topping Out Ceremony - 14th November 2023
Cynhaliwyd digwyddiad dathlu ar safle’r ysgol newydd ar ddydd Mawrth, 14 Tachwedd i nodi cyrraedd pwynt uchaf yr adeilad, sef y seremoni y'i galwyd yn Saesneg yn seremoni ‘topping out’. Cynhaliwyd y digwyddiad gan gwmni Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd ac roedd disgyblion a staff o Ysgol Gelli Aur, pennaeth gweithredol yr ysgol newydd, llywodraethwyr corff llywodraethu dros dro Ysgol Bro Penfro, aelodau Cabinet ac uwch swyddogion y Cyngor yn bresennol, ynghyd â nifer o swyddogion o dîm y prosiect.
A celebration event was held on the site of the new school on Tuesday 14 November to mark the reaching of the highest point of the building, traditional known as the ‘topping-out’ ceremony. The event was hosted by Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd. And attended by pupils and staff from Ysgol Gelli Aur, the Executive Headteacher of the new school, governors of the Temporary Governing Body of Ysgol Bro Penfro, Cabinet members, Senior officers of the Council, and a number of officers from the project team.

Mynychodd disgyblion Blwyddyn 6 Ysgol Gelli Aur y safle i weld cynnydd y gwaith. Rhoddodd Hywel Gerrish, rheolwr y safle i Morgan Sindall Construction, daith o amgylch y safle i’r disgyblion a’r staff er mwyn iddynt weld datblygiadau diweddaraf y prosiect.
Year 6 Pupils from Gelli Aur School attended site to see the progress of works. Site manager for Morgan Sindall Construction Hywel Gerrish, gave the pupils and staff a tour to show the latest updates on the project.

Work commenced on site - April 2023
Dyfarnwyd cam adeiladu'r contract i Morgan Sindall Construction a dechreuodd y gwaith ar Safle Bush Hill.
The construction phase of the contract was awarded to Morgan Sindall Construction and work began on the Bush Hill Site.
